Our Save the Dates
Are you engaged? Do you want to find out if your husband is a keeper? Ask him to help you hand make 150 save the dates. We're talking cutting, stamping, embossing, and gluing. Truly takes a skilled man to say yes and actually be helpful.
My darling Andy stepped up to help me after I had made about 20 and realized how much work I had gotten myself into. But, I'm too stubborn to admit that it was not worth it -- so I will swear to this day that the save the dates were absolutely essential. And the fact that they were handmade -- even though we probably could have saved a lot of time and money by having a professional make us some really nice ones. . .
But, it was a really fun bonding experience for Andy and I. I learned how crafty my soon to be husband could truly be and figured out that he is as much of a perfectionist as I am. We laughed, cried and got extremely frustrated throughout the experience -- but I wouldn't change the memories that we made for the world. <3
